Our Chicago Bear, Brendon
Ayanbadejo
As many of you know, Brendon Ayanbadejo,
a Linebacker for the Chicago Bears Football
Team, is a staunch believer in LifeWave
products. He has generously allowed us to use
his picture wearing our products with no strings
attached, and has gotten a number of other pro
players to try them too. He’s an All-Star member
of the LifeWave Team.
Brendon has been selected to play in the
NFL Pro Bowl three times so far—as an
alternate in 2004 and 2005, and as a full member
of the Special Teams in 2006. It is now time to
vote for the Pro Bowl Team for 2007, and we want
to give Brendon a good chance to make the team

A Holiday Message
As we enter the final weeks
of 2007 and
this wonderful Holiday Season, we would like to take
a moment to reflect on how blessed we are here at
LifeWave.
During the course of this year we
have experienced some tremendous growth and also
some issues. But all through the year we were
blessed because we were surrounded by our LifeWave
Family—people who spread the word about our great
products; people who changed someone’s life by
taking the initiative and talking about LifeWave,
helping someone relieve pain or gain energy, or,
this year, helping someone manage their weight for
the first time. We are all fortunate to have found
these products and each other!
Remember that, in this season of giving and
sharing, one thing you can do that might
make a huge difference in someone’s life is to

LIFEWAVE INTRODUCES NEW SLEEP PATCH
Dear LifeWave Family Members,
We are excited to announce that we will be releasing
a new and improved sleep patch this month
that we have named “Silent Nights”.
We’re all accustomed to thinking
that we have to put something into our body (like
vitamins) to improve our health. While proper
nutrition, water and exercise are a necessary part
of any healthy lifestyle, our bodies also require a
continuous flow of energy. For example, our brains
and nerves transmit electrical signals to our

former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher, Mark Eichhorn!
Many of you have seen Mark at our events or read
about her on our website; (“LifeWave In The News
section). And many of you already know about the
phenomenal success that Mark
has experienced with our patches.
Here is some more information about Mark
Eichhorn:
Mark Eichhorn had one of the most interesting career
paths to the majors. Drafted 30th overall by the
Blue Jays in the second round of the 1979 amateur
entry draft, Eichhorn's pitching style was rather
conventional. He pitched from a three-quarters
deliver and possessed good velocity on his fastball,
which at the time was his go-to pitch. However,
after suffering a shoulder injury in 1982, he was
forced to alter his delivery to compensate for the
velocity he lost on his fastball.
However, after he altered his delivery, he became a
completely different pitcher. Rather than relying on
his fastball, he consistently threw one of the best
change-ups in all of baseball. In fact, in the
Neyer/James Guide to Pitchers, Eichhorn's change-up
is listed as one of the very best of all time.
In the end, the quality of Eichhorn's career is
probably overlooked by most contemporary baseball
fans. In a Baseball Prospectus article entitled "The
Top Pitchers of the 1990s," Eichhorn is listed as
the 6th best relief pitcher from 1990-1998.
Mark has used the Y-Age patches and the Energy
Patches on his son Kevin when he pitches. He uses
Icewave as a cooling down procedure instead of ice.
Mark coaches at Aptos High School where Kevin is a
nationally ranked high school pitcher!

study being published in a peer-reviewed journal! We wanted
to notify you of this important development, and of course
we will also be providing you with links to this study when
it becomes available.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of
LifeWave patent-pending nontransdermal patches on heart rate
variability in humans (Schmidt, 2004). LifeWave patches are
a proprietary nanotechnology developed to enhance athletic
performance by modulating the physiological functioning of
muscle cells. It is claimed that this is achieved through an
increased rate of fatty acid beta-oxidation, thereby
enhancing muscular stamina and strength. This study was
undertaken to see whether the use of these skin patches has
an effect on the cardiovascular system and autonomic nervous
system, measurable by heart rate variability (HRV).
It would appear that the Lifewave Energy patches can result
in a decrease of sympathetic drive to the heart. This may
explain the anecdotal reports from therapy clients that they
feel less stressed when wearing them.
Also, the most significant finding was the decrease in VLF
(Very Low Frequency), one of the spectral components of
heart rate variability and a measure of sympathetic drive to
the heart. It increases under stress or anxiety and may
explain my personal impression that the energy patches seem
to decrease the "hassle stress" of everyday life.

LifeWave
Launches Major Initiative
in the Philippines
LifeWave is pleased to announce a major business initiative
in the Philippines. What makes this effort so special is
that the company has chosen to reach out to the Medical
Community in the Philippines, teaching hundreds of Doctors
and Nurses how to use LifeWave patches for a variety of
purposes with their patients
The cornerstone of this program is a large-scale joint
effort in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Makati
City—the largest Rotary Club in the Philippines. LifeWave
joined the Rotary Club’s primary community service
effort—supporting several large hospitals in and around
Manila and Makati City—by donating LifeWave Patch Products
for use with approximately 15,000 people (approximate value:
$100,000) to these hospitals and to the Medical
Practitioners who serve there. Most of the people who will
benefit from this donation are among the poorest in the
Philippines, and that is why the Rotary Club strongly
endorsed this very generous program.
In a large pre-launch meeting held on July 5, 2008, LifeWave
Founder and CEO David Schmidt, along with LifeWave Medical
Director Dr. Steve Haltiwanger, provided extensive, hands-on
training to over 400 Philippine Doctors & Nurses, so that
when they received the donated patches they would be
prepared to use them to the greatest benefit of their
patients.
At the meeting and in the days following, many of these
practitioners enrolled as LifeWave Members so that when
their donated patches are used, they will be able to order
more through their LifeWave Distributorships, providing a
strong foundation to our business there.
The excitement was so great that the need for a follow-up
meeting and training session was recognized immediately, and
was planned to take place this week, from August 20—22. This
session will be addressed in a follow-up email.
We at LifeWave would like to thank a number of people who
helped pull this wonderful program together:
LifeWave Director Roy Surjono, who introduced LifeWave to
the key representatives in the Philippines; Dr. Peng Chan,
who was of invaluable assistance in helping our new Leaders
learn about the technology and the business; Beth Santiago,
who has spent countless hours working to develop the
Philippino market; Robert Walker, Henry Young and Fely
Ramos, three very effective local leaders in the
Philippines; our Distribution Manager and LifeWave Leader
Vic Sianghio for connecting us with the Rotary Club and last
but not least, Rotary Club Past President Jose Pepito
Bengzon and Rotary Club President Doris Ensomo, who were
instrumental in facilitating this donation between the
Rotary Club and hospitals in the Philippines.

The
Philippines Outreach Program Continues
On Monday we announced our initiative in the
Philippines which involved a significant
contribution by LifeWave to three Hospitals there, and a
highly successful training session conducted by LifeWave
Founder/CEO David Schmidt and Medical Director Dr. Steve
Haltiwanger. We have continued to see great progress being
made, much of that through the efforts of our LifeWave team
of Distributor/Practitioners.
Dr. Quila Rider, a LifeWave Distributor and Health
Practitioner, made a trip to The Philippines to conduct the
follow-up training session. Last Thursday she was successful
in getting another 200 Doctors trained and ready to apply
LifeWave patches to patients in three large hospitals in and
around Manila.
According to Vic Sianghio, who manages LifeWave’s
fulfillment center there, “The patching operation of Dr.
Rider was very systematic. Dr. Rider analyzed the pain
problem by question and answer from the patient, and
locations of the patches were determined step by step.
LifeWave patches were well accepted by the doctors,
especially when we gave samples to the doctors having pain
problems in the family and with relatives.”
“The program in the Philippines shows all the promise we
expected,” said David Schmidt.. “We believe that
providing our products to those who need them most and are
least able to afford them is the right thing to do. That’s
the LifeWave philosophy.”

Relief Efforts

USD 100,000 (AUD 143,600) worth

February bushfires in the state
of Victoria in southern

Trip to Down Under
David Schmidt journeyed across

News agency MainStreet.com
recently reported that direct
selling is one of seven top
part-time jobs in this global
recession. "Companies such as
Amway and Avon allow people to
make money on their own time.
And while the recession may have
curbed consumer spending, Avon
recently reported earnings that
were above expectations," the
news agency stated. Like Amway
and Avon representatives,

Dr. Steve Haltiwanger M.D., C.C.N.,

has contributed to the new Anti-Aging
Therapeutics Volume XI, a publication of the
American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine
(A4M). Dr. Haltiwanger's article is
published as Chapter 19: "The Science of
Bioenergetic and Bioelectric Technologies:
Cellular Mechanisms".
The article addresses the concepts of
resonant frequencies, the electronic
properties of cells, and signal induction

the possibility that "frequency modulation

LifeWave announces the
"Richard Quick Pursuit of Excellence Award" in November
It's not often that we have the opportunity to get to know
someone who represents the pinnacle of achievement. We usually
only hear about these great leaders who blaze new trails in the
pursuit of excellence. When we find one, we should not take the
opportunity for granted.
One such individual is Richard Quick, United States Olympic
Coach, who admired LifeWave for its own achievements in
developing a safe approach to performance enhancement.
Unfortunately, Richard lost his battle with cancer earlier this
year, and LifeWave lost a dear friend. However, we haven't lost
his great wisdom and example to live by.
Looking back, we see how Richard was out in the trenches every
day, conducting himself with strict ethics, and consistently
working hard - this is what leads to greatness, and this is the
kind of example we want to empower throughout the LifeWave
community.
To honor this great leader, LifeWave is creating the
"Richard Quick Pursuit of Excellence Award". This award
honors one individual each year who represents these qualities
and consequently achieves great things. LifeWave will announce
the very first recipient of this award at the LifeWave Suzanne
Cruise in November 2009.
LifeWave attracted Richard's interest in 2004. He contacted
David Schmidt, Founder & CEO of LifeWave, because he wanted to
learn more about the patch technology. Wanting to use the
patches on his athletes, he needed something legal, safe, and
with no adverse side effects. After LifeWave Health & Science
Director Steve Haltiwanger and David Schmidt spent nearly two
years developing the patch, they had the opportunity to truly
substantiate their product and promptly supplied Richard with
samples of the Energy Enhancer patches. At an event only a few
weeks later, 6 women on the Stanford Swim Team broke their
personal records, while 1 athlete broke the world record! This
was the start of a business relationship and close friendship

Richard Quick wanted only the best for his athletes. He wanted
to be on the cutting edge of fitness technology yet never

Riding a Wave of Success
on the Asia-Australia Tour
The Asia-Australia tour took LifeWave
Founder/CEO, David Schmidt and LifeWave President, Mike Collins
across three stops in Asia and all the way down to Melbourne,
Australia to share the latest LifeWave news and advancements.
The enthusiastic gatherings in each location generated waves of
excitement and have us all energized for the bright future
ahead!
First Stop:
Taipei, Taiwan, September 4th
The tour kicked off in Taipei, where David and Mike met with
field leaders to discuss plans for building the burgeoning
market in Taiwan. Afterward, the group celebrated with a lavish,
traditional ten-course Taiwanese meal.
At the open meeting on September 5, LifeWave's Taiwan office was
filled to capacity, as members and guests flowed out of the
meeting space and into the lobby to hear David discuss and
demonstrate our revolutionary products. The riveting meeting
ended with a mutual commitment to expand the Taiwan market to
record heights!
Second Stop: Kuala
Lumpur, Malaysia, September 7th
Meetings held at the next stop, in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, were
an equally rousing success. Highlights from this stop included a
galvanizing meeting with a team of Thai leaders who are working
on our distribution and expansion into that market, as well as a
luncheon with Malaysian field leaders who shared some fantastic
success stories and plans for the future.
That evening, 350 members and guests attended the three-hour
open meeting. All in attendance left without a doubt that the
Malaysian market will be a huge success for LifeWave.
Third Stop:
Singapore, September 8th
What a great way to arrive in Singapore - Mike and David were
treated to an unforgettable tour of the bustling city's most
beautiful sights by their host, Hean Kengh Ong.
The next day, a luncheon meeting with local leadership set an
enthusiastic tone going into the evenings open meeting. At that
gathering, 350 members and guests heard David demonstrate patch
placement and protocols, and speak about fantastic new
discoveries in the utilization of the LifeWave products.
Final Stop:
Melbourne, Australia, September 10th
The Melbourne stop kicked off with a LifeWave reception to thank
the tremendous team of leaders from around Australia for their
hard work in building the Australian market to the 3rd largest
LifeWave market in the world.
On the evening of September 12, more than 400 LifeWave members
and guests congregated at the Crown Towers, a state of the art
hotel and casino. The mood was electrifying, as David discussed
what's on the horizon for the company. In addition, David
announced that he will once again be featured as an expert in
Suzanne Somers' forthcoming book, entitled Knockout! Hosts
Michael Georghiou, David O'Dea, and Muffet Villena, united the
audience in a commitment to growing Australia's market to the
number one LifeWave market in the world.
David and Mike ended their Asia-Australia tour in style - with a
cocktail reception on the 89th floor of the Eureka Tower,
Melbourne's tallest building. The nearly 100 guests mingled
while taking in the breathtaking sights and lights of the city.
David and Mike would like to thank everyone in the locations
they visited for their participation, and would especially like
to acknowledge Larry Hsu in Taipei, Mr. Ong in Malaysia and
Singapore, and Mr. Georghiou, Mr. O'Dea, and Ms. Villena in

Hello, My name is Suka
I'm a nine yr old female Doberman Pincher. I've had some
very serious health issues in the past and would like to share with you how
using LifeWave Energy patches and
Y-Age Glutathione booster patches, have helped me to
detoxify heavy metals such as mercury, and allow me to resume a normal
lively life.
In my early youth, I had canned tuna as a major part of my diet
for awhile, the concentration of heavy metals, predominantly mercury deformed my
right paw. As you can see in the picture above, my right paw is slightly larger
in size than my left. It was much worse a few years ago too. My
health was steadily declining as well. Just as this was all gradually
growing, I was also attacked by another dog, an unfortunate circumstance.

The commencement of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games is
around the corner (February 12-28). We are eager to see many
